FHE Crew – Spring 2025
Forest Hills Eastern Crew is pleased to announce Registration is now open for all new and returning 9th-12th grade rowers!
This Spring season, FHE Crew will participate in daily practices and competitive regattas. Eastern Crew provides opportunities for students with a wide range of athletic abilities to become highly trained, competitive and successful student athletes. ROW HAWKS

Instructions for Spring Rowing Registration
STEP 1
FHPS requires each athlete to register through Final Forms.
This process includes basic medical and health information, insurance information, Pay to Play fee and MUST include submission of the athlete’s updated health physical (dated on or after 4/15/24).
This is a separate step required by the school and must be completed prior to registration with FHE Rowing. Please contact the FHE Athletic Department with specific questions regarding this process.
STEP 2
Complete this FHE Rowing Registration Form. This is a separate step from Final Forms and is required by FHE Rowing to participate.
STEP 3
Please submit payment for FHE Rowing Spring Dues.
Dues are collected in addition to the FHPS Pay to Play fee. *Seasonal dues pay for team regatta fees, 11 team regatta meals, 3 nights away regatta lodging, boat maintenance and other seasonal operational expenses not covered by FHPS.
Spring Dues:
$500 – This includes annual FHE Rowing Club dues and the $25 USRowing Membership required for each rower.
Uniforms have been purchased by the FHE Crew Boosters for all rowers. Our team will be united in spirit and in appearance at all competitions. They will be looking good on the water! Each rower will be given a uniform to use for the season and must return it in good condition at the end of the season.
*Each rower must have a team visor as part of the required uniform. If your rower does not have a team visor currently, please add the $30 fee to your registration payment.
Yard signs may be purchased for $25. These are double sided signs with your rower’s name and displayed at FHE during Regatta weeks. Additional signs can also be purchased for home use. *Returning rowers that have purchased a sign in the past do not need to reorder – we have it! This would be for any athlete that has not ordered previously. Please add the $25 per sign fee to your dues payment. Email us at FHEasterncrew@gmail.com with name details.
If you wish to pay by check please make the check payable to: FHE Crew and send it to: Vas Christopoulos, Treasurer (1640 Flowers Mill Dr, Grand Rapids, MI, 49525). If you wish to pay online, please Pay Here (this will incur a PayPal processing fee: please add the fee to your total payment. FHE Crew is a 501(c)(3) non profit and we are unable to cover the online payment fees)
Payment and Registration due by March 31.

- February 27: Preseason Parent Meeting – 7 pm FHE Auditorium Lobby
- March 6: Mandatory Swim Test (FHPS Aquatic Center) 3:15 – 4:30 pm
- March 15: Rockford Indoor Sprints (Rockford High School)
- March 18 : Spring Sports Meeting – FHE Auditorium
- March 22: FHC Indoor Spring Sprints (Forest Hills Central High School Gymnasium)
- March 25: Team Media Day Photos – FHE Aux Gym Lobby 4:20 pm
- April 19: Belted Galloway Regatta (FHPS Boathouse)
- April 26: GR Invitational Regatta (Riverside Park)
- May 3: Martindale Sprints Regatta (Kensington MetroPark)
- May 9-11: Midwest Championship Regatta (Kensington MetroPark) *2 Night lodging accommodations for all athletes
- May 16-17: State Championship Regatta (Kensington MetroPark) *1 Night lodging accommodations for all athletes
- May 23-24: National Championships (Pennsauken, NJ) – qualified boats only
